9. Get ACTIVE.

    The only way to avoid the dreaded “freshman 15” is to have a balance of being lazy and being active. Every university has some type of activity center so go find something fun to do to keep your heart rate up! I occasionally played racquetball, and used machines like leg lifts, or whatever, a couple times. I’m not the prime example of fitness, but my friends that do workout consistently have a ton of energy and get better sleep at night! Another way to get your body moving is playing intramural sports. Again, I am not the least bit athletic, but I played intramural co-ed flag football one semester and co-ed basketball another semester, and it was a blast playing with my friends.
