College textbooks are SO expensive. Don’t break the bank trying to buy them at full price from the university bookstore. Unless a class requires a brand new workbook, you can pretty much always buy or rent your books used, at a much lower price. Great resources are Amazon, which offers student discounts, or Chegg. Teachers will also outline on the first day if you really need the textbook or if it’s just suggested material so pay attention and save some moolah! Try to get ’em as soon as possible to avoid waiting for them to ship and falling behind in class. And on that note…
