Soldier About To Exit Plane With Remains Of Fallen Hero, Student Passengers Stand In Impromptu Song.

A recent flight from Germany to Houston ended with a powerful, impromptu moment of American patriotism that no passenger will ever forget. Luckily, the incredible moment was captured on camera by an observer.

When the otherwise uneventful flight came to an end, and the passengers were preparing to exit the plane, the pilot got on the speakers and instructed everyone to remain seated while an Army private escorted the remains of a fallen soldier off of the plane. That’s when a group of students began to sing.

A woman named Diane Cupp recorded the impromptu song and uploaded it to Facebook with the following caption:

“On our flight from Germany there was a Army private in uniform that so happen to be escorting the remains of a WW11 Soldier back home to Houston . The pilot announced he would be exiting the plane first, as he got up to leave there were a group of young people who had been on tour in Europe all of a sudden they broke out singing Glory Hallelujah. Listen how beautiful !! Will bring a tear to your eye.”

The choir was singing “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” also known as “Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory,” and their rendition of the American classic is beautiful. It’s even more beautiful knowing that they were singing out of respect for a fallen hero.
