But out pets aren’t the only ones. Plenty of wild animals get the zoomies as well, like the baby bison a woman named Sophia spotted. She was at Yellowstone National Park when she came across a number of these beautiful creatures. But it was a baby and their mom who caught her attention the most. Woman Captures the Moment a Baby Bison at Yellowstone National Park Gets an Adorable Case of the Zoomies
This video is adorable, of course, but it has also brought about a fascinating conversation. Although it’s common for people to use the term bison and buffalo interchangeably, doing so is actually not accurate. There are a few ways to tell the difference between these two animals, including their physical appearances.
Unlike buffalo, bison have a hump at their shoulders. And while they both have horns, the ones found on buffalo tend to be much larger. Some can reach more than six feet! Finally, buffalos are indigenous to South Asia and Africa while bison can be found in North America and parts of Europe.
The bison found at Yellowstone are oh-so precious. At one point, these animals neared extinction. So, it’s a very big deal that this national park is the only place where bison have lived continuously since the prehistoric times!
