Former collegiate athlete Riley Gaines and her husband, Louis Barker, welcomed their first baby. Baby Margot arrived on September 29, and she announced her birth on Instagram on October 2.

“There’s nothing that could’ve prepared me for a love like this. God has blessed us beyond belief. Welcome to the world, sweet Margot,” Riley wrote alongside a pair of photos featuring the new family of three.
Dad Charlie was all smiles as he looked down at his two best girls. Riley and Louis married in May 2022, following a relationship that dates back to 2019. The pair met while swimming for the University of Kentucky.
Riley Gaines Looked Forward To The Birth Of Her Baby Girl
Riley Gaines chronicled her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing her excitement about becoming a mother. Just days before Margot’s birth, Riley shared a sweet message for her daughter.
“One day we’ll show our daughter these photos and explain that, despite how happy we look, our lives weren’t yet complete,” she wrote on Instagram. “We’re ready for you, baby girl.”
Following Riley Gaines’ baby announcement, family friends and fans shared congratulations and well-wishes with the new mom and dad.
