It’s hard to believe that Barack and Michelle Obama’s daughters are all grown up. Malia, 8, and Sasha, 25, no longer live with their mom and dad, which has changed things greatly for their parents. Michelle Obama opened up about her life at home on the IMO podcast she shares with her brother, Craig Robinson.

“I don’t miss ‘em,” Michelle very bluntly told guest Jon Stewart. “I don’t. I love them. I’m going to see them tonight for dinner.”
Michelle and Barack Obama Had Very Different Reactions to their Daughters Leaving
Michelle Obama told Jon that her husband cried when the girls left, but she was much less upset.
“I was like, ‘Bye!” she laughed. “Now, Friday nights aren’t wrecked with terror and fear about, ‘Where are you?’”
Michelle also said that she doesn’t mourn parenting her daughters like she did when they were young. She’s happy with her life the way it is now and is enjoying the freedom she has as a mom of adults.
“I love my schedule. I have a great schedule,” Michelle admitted. ”And it’s all mine.”
