Meghan Markle Makes Fans Swoon After Recreating An Iconic Princess Diana Look

Meghan Markle Princess Diana

There will never be another Princess Diana. Her untimely death in 1997 shocked the world. We watched in horror as an icon left the world and her two teenage sons behind. It’s been nearly 30 years since Diana’s death, and she’d be extremely proud of William and Harry. They’ve both married, had children, and continued her legacy of kindness and service to the people of Great Britain. Though Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle never met Princess Diana, they both emulate some of her best qualities. Kate has her mother-in-law’s style and grace, and Meghan has her flair for fun. They each capture her essence in their own way.

Meghan Markle Paid Tribute To A Late 1990s Princess Diana Look

She shared a photo on her Instagram stories paying honor to Diana and her alma mater, Northwestern. Meghan attended Northwestern from 1999 to 2003, not long after Diana made a university sweatshirt famous. Diana wore the same purple Northwestern sweatshirt in 1996 with a pair of white biker shorts. Even though they never met, the pair seem connected in both their taste in sweatshirts and their love for Harry.

It’s been a very busy month for Meghan Markle. She recently announced on Instagram that her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, will launch soon. Meghan’s entrepreneurial spirit and love for her family are evident in the new brand.

She wrote on Instagram, “This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish—food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday. I will keep sharing behind-the-scenes tidbits with you here as we ramp up to launch, and I can’t wait for you to get your hands on everything we’ve been creating. Sending lots of love…”

We’re sure Princess Diana would be very proud of Meghan Markle and the life she leads with her dear son, Harry.
