Ahead of the couple’s wedding anniversary, his widow, Tenisha Warner, shared a photo of their 2017 wedding. Malcolm and Tenisha looked thrilled on their wedding day. We can’t help but feel a bit of heartache for the woman he loved, who is grappling with tremendous grief. Tenisha shared her face and her feelings on Instagram for the first time.

“For the first time, I’m sharing a glimpse of the love that began it all,” she wrote. “I can still hear my husband’s laugh, still feel the way he made room for every part of me —every tear, every dream.”
Tenisha Warner Will Honor Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Legacy
Later in her post, Tenisha Warner shared good news about Malcom-Jamal Warner’s continued impact on the world, even in death.
“Today, in his honor, my daughter and I are launching River & Ember and officially opening The Warner Family Foundation,” she wrote.
“Together we carry the legacy my husband and I began—one that nurtures children’s inner light
and gives young artists the freedom to create outside the lines,” Tenisha Warner added.
“This is a beautiful tribute Tenisha. Thank you for honoring him in this profound way if you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate,” a friend shared.
“Simply beautiful,” Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Cosby Show co-star Keisha Knight Pulliam wrote.
“I didn’t realize what an impact Malcolm Jamal Warner had in my life but the loss was felt deeply and the pain was real and sharp. How amazing for someone I never met to have impacted me in such a way. To know I’m not the only one is telling of the kind of human being he was. May he rest in peace and may his loved ones feel the love from strangers such as me,” another fan wrote.
