It seems that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, even in the feline world!

Cat lover Lindsey Kuzmin is the proud owner of two hairless cats called Roswell and Leela. She runs a popular TikTok channel featuring her beloved pets, and their videos have nearly 7 million views. She was recently browsing for Halloween decorations when one caught her eye. She just had to have it!

Lindsey bought the skeleton cat decoration and brought it home, where she decided to introduce it to her cats before setting it up. She had no idea she was about to witness the start of a beautiful friendship!

As soon as Roswell saw the skeleton cat, he was one smitten kitten.

“He immediately ran right up to it and started sniffing it,” Lindsey told The Dodo. “Within a few minutes, he was licking it like he was trying to groom it and kept brushing up against it. I wasn’t expecting him to be quite so friendly with the skeleton cat right away, but he absolutely loves it.”

The decoration was such a big hit, Lindsey moved it into her office where she and Roswell spend most of their time. Now, she works while Roswell hangs out with his buddy!

“He’ll walk by it and brush up against it like he’s saying hi, and will sometimes give it kisses too,” Lindsey said.

Unfortunately, Roswell’s sister Leela wasn’t as fond of the new addition. Instead of giving the skeleton cat some gentle pats and kisses, Leela batted the cat with her claws and knocked it over. She thought the decoration was a threat until she saw how Roswell loves it. She and the skeleton cat have now forged a hard-won peace treaty.

Now that Roswell has found his soul mate, Lindsey doesn’t have the heart to pack skeleton cat away at the end of Spooky Season. She says he’s here to stay, whether Leela likes it or not!

“The skeleton cat is like family now, so I’ll be keeping it around all year,” said Lindsey.

With three internet stars on her hands instead of two, Lindsey has already put Skeleton Cat to work making videos. His first podcast with Roswell left lots of work for improvement, but was still adorable!

Replying to @naughttoosweet I think they were a little bit nervous on their first podcast. What should the next episode be about? #podcast #catsoftiktok #sphynx #skeletoncat #halloween #hairlesscat #catpodcast @RØDE Microphones #rodecasterpro

The name of Roswell and Skeleton Cat’s podcast is “Skin and Bones,” of course. We love the creativity here! We wish this little family the best, and thank them for the laughs.
