Firefighter finds Pitbull seconds from death in huge fire, gives mouth-to-snout breaths to save his life.

As firefighter Wiliam Linder of the Hanahan Fire Department was searching a blazing home for survivors, he stumbled upon Jake the pit bull puppy with just moments to spare.

“I literally found Jake in the last place you could see before the smoke became pitch black and was too dark to navigate through,” Lindler said. “He wasn’t doing too good, and I gave him mouth-to-snout breaths until we could get an oxygen mask for him.”

All in all, Jake spent four months recovering from his severe burns, these days he’s ten times the pup he used to be. Jake spends his time at the local Fire Department and teaching kids about fire safety and lounging with his firefighter buddies.

Check out his beautiful story below!

1. Jake’s body suffered serious burn wounds from the fire.
