Hooters Abruptly Closed Dozens Of Locations Weeks After Saying It Was “Here To Stay”

Hooters Closed

Hooters filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March 2025 but did not mention closures at the time. In fact, the chain announced on its website that they were here to stay. Three months later, contrary to an earlier news release, Hooters surprisingly closed dozens of restaurants across the country.

No word yet on Real American Beer saving Hooters.
