Actor and comedian Anthony Anderson was a hilarious host of this year’s Emmy Awards, but his mom stole the spotlight with her hilarious quips. The two had a banter that stretched throughout the entire show, and the audience completely ate it up.
Anthony began the joke with an introduction of his mom, Doris, citing that folks should be careful to mess with her because she’s from the West Side of Chicago.
She chirped up from the audience, “Anthony! Shut up!” The audience completely roared with laughter at her interruption.
But that wasn’t all.
Anthony Anderson’s mom continued, explaining that she’d like to attend the after-party.
Anthony’s jokes prodding his mom persisted throughout the entire program, and folks just couldn’t get enough.
