“My Husband ‘Out Hunting’ With Our Cat In The Evenings”

Image shows a husband out "hunting" with the cat he didn't want.

Zanna van Dijk’s husband did not want a cat, but they got one anyway. Like so many husbands who famously didn’t want a cat, he has bonded with the little feline. The concern now is what the neighbors may think as Zanna’s husband goes on nightly “hunting” excursions with the cat.

The comment section is lively, with bibliophile.em saying, “God forbid a father take an active role in his child’s interests.”

User Faefeather adds, “What makes this better is that cats generally think we’re useless and can’t hunt that’s why they’ll bring dead birds and stuff 😭 your cat probably thinks it’s teaching its slow friend how to hunt.”

Several users think the cat might feel embarrassed with her Dad tagging along. The comment section is as hilarious as the video.

We’ve seen the same story play out countless times on the internet: The husband doesn’t want a cat until they have one. Sometimes, they go out of their way to accommodate the cat, or in this case, four cats. The general consensus is that women are suckers for stray animals, but evidence suggests the opposite. I have spent two years sitting in the “spare” desk chair because my senior cat was in my good desk chair. I can empathize with this husband.

This husband thinks he hates cats, but the cats are here to beg to differ. Sometimes animals will gravitate toward people who dislike them. However, they don’t stay and get comfortable without permission from the husband/host. The man shows no discomfort and appears to be whispering to his tiny fur blankets.

Everyone knows one of these cat men who say they don’t want the cat even as they snuggle it.
