The talented young singer has caught the eye of major names in the industry, but she’s worked most closely with her mentor, renowned songwriter/producer David Foster. Now, Mr. Foster would definitely not associate with just anyone, so you know she’s got some strong pipes!
As Charice joins David on stage, she reveals her song choice, “All By Myself”. Any singer can tell you that this song is not meant for amateurs; it’s extremely difficult to sing correctly, requiring a strong vocal range and control. However, that didn’t seem to be a problem for Charice!
The singer came in with such emotion and an incredible level of skill that it’s of no surprise her major influences are Celine Dion and Whitney Houston!
It’s so inspiring to see someone so talented pursing their passion. Not to mention, to see the high profile and incredibly respected David Foster in total awe of his new prodigy, smiling from ear to ear, gave me total goosebumps!
