If you’ve ever passed by a business having a giant sale you may have seen an overly excited and super engaging sign spinner. The sign spinner twirls the sign around, flips it and does all types of cool tricks in an attempt to draw your attention to the business (although most of the time, you end up looking at the sign spinner and forget about the sale).

Some sign spinners are just employees who have no idea what they’re doing, but then you have some who are experts – professionals even! I had no clue that professional sign spinning has a world championship, nor that it has been going on for nine years. But the 9th annual world sign spinning championship took place in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada this year, and it was incredible!
An awesome video of the 2016 World Sign Spinning Championship shows the sick skills of some of the world’s best sign spinners. Over 100 AArrow professional sign spinners entered the fierce competition.

Some spinners came dressed as a luchador, a mariachi, and even Elvis made an appearance.
Men, women, and groups competed to show off their raw physical talent. Thousands attended the event. Ultimately one winner was crowned but the sign spinners showed complete class and sportsmanship as they celebrated with him.
