For Helen Davis, 99 is just another number.
The Boulder artist told her friends that she wanted to fly in a glider plane for her 99th birthday, so they did not hesitate to make it happen — they all chipped in to buy her the experience of her dreams!
Helen got to cross this item off her bucket list, and judging by her reaction, she will never forget this epic moment.
“I don’t know what I expected, but I loved every minute of it,” said Helen.
While Helen was having the ride of a lifetime, her friends were waiting for her to throw her a traditional birthday party with sweets and all the birthday goodies!
“I love her,” said one of her friends. “I feel like I wouldn’t be who I am today without her.”
Helen has the best friends in the world, and she deserves all the love that she’s getting!
As for her, she mentioned she’s adding parasailing to her list — and we have no doubt she will do it! Her energy, her laugh, and just the way she lives life at such an advanced age are such an inspiration.
