Whitney Houston + synchronized skating = near perfection! This video of the Russian Synchronized Skating team at the 2013 World Synchronized Skating competition completely blew me away.
The group is comprised of 16 girls who flawlessly move together to Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” The result is truly a piece of art! Team Russia dances on the ice in perfect unison. In their white costumes, these incredible women look like a flock of birds in the air or swans on a lake.
But they aren’t just pretty in their dresses; they’ve got to be seriously strong to pull off some of these moves, and they have incredible focus. The most at 3:55 completely took my breath away. I had to rewind and watch it again– I’ve never seen anything like it!
This magical routine is certainly enjoyable to watch but their faces after they’ve completed the routine are even more moving. Some are all smiles and some are overwhelmed with emotion. Clearly they are aware of how well they did. I mean, they absolutely killed it!
