The man, Michael, is melting hearts all over social media. Michael asked his now bride-to-be for her hand in marriage recently, and she said “yes.” However, he knew her daughter also needed to agree to him being her father before he walked down the aisle. So when she came home one day, he gave her her own surprise dad proposal.
In a moment her mother caught on camera, the little girl came home one day to find Michael and her mom waiting. Her mom first showed the girl her ring and shared the happy news, and the girl was thrilled.
All of a sudden she sees Michael drop to his knee and say, ” So, I’ve got a really important question, okay? I got your momma to say ‘yes.'”
Dad’s Viral Proposal: ‘Can You Be My Daughter?’
The little girl nodded in excitement as Michael opened a box and offered her a ring.
“Can you be my daughter? Can I be your daddy?” he asked.
Overtaken with emotion, the girl nodded “yes” and melted into Michael’s arms.
The video points out that the little girl doesn’t have a relationship with her biological father. So the proposal was extra special for her.
“I’ll love you forever,” Michael continued. “I promise. And I’ll take care of you and everything.”
