Most of us are blessed with two arms, two legs and everything else we need to succeed in life. If we are capable and work with integrity, good things will come. Life can deal a wildcard now and then, but for the most part we are equipped to succeed.
Sometimes the hand that’s dealt seems impossible to handle, but that’s exactly the time to make the most of it.
Linda Bannon and her son Timmy suffer from Holt-Oram syndrome – A rare genetic disorder that caused them to be born without arms. By any estimation, their condition should have held them back from life, but instead they live it to the fullest.
Both mother and son are nearly completely independent. They live in a non-modified home, cooking, cleaning, laughing and living like any other family of three. Timmy is popular at school and a rising sports star who swims like a fish and takes taekwondo. Even though he has to live a little differently, rest assured he feels the same as everyone else.
