I moved to Peru to quench that wanderlust feeling and to journal it through photo and video. Traveling brings the excitement of experiencing the new, the first times, those moments that make you feel so out of place but so awake. And having a camera makes it possible to keep those moments that are only new once and experience them over and over again. To be a traveler with a camera means to have it all, to still those moments that will never come again and to keep them forever.
Peru has opened my eyes to unique beauty, whether its in the strange landscape of a dessert and beach, in the midst of the tremendous Andes mountains, or through an innocent smile of a local Peruvian child. I hope that with this video montage that I have made of my time here so far, you can experience just a snippet of what I see everyday and why I have fallen in love with this country.
