The Adorable “Hug Lady” Has Been Greeting Returning And Departing Soldiers For Over A Decade

Elizabeth Laird, known by soldiers at Ft. Hood as “The Hug Lady,” has been attending every single deployment and homecoming at the army base since June of 2003. She has one goal: to hug every soldier going to or returning from war. What an amazing way to thank our troops and spread love!
