Taylor Swift is known for being good to her fans, but she’s stepping up her kindness even more in response to COVID-19.
The outbreak has affected people around the world, especially those who have lost their jobs. With no income, many fear they won’t be able to pay their bills or keep a roof over their heads. So when a few Swift fans vented their worries on social media, the pop star decided to lend a helping hand.

In a Tumblr post, freelance music photographer Holly Turner explained she was afraid she would have to leave New York City. But as soon as she received a message from her idol, her anxiety eased.
Swift sent her a generous gift of $3,000, writing, “You’ve always been there for me. I want to be there for you right now.”

Another fan went online when her workplace closed for 30 days due to COVID-19 concerns. “I have no job, no income, no way to pay my bills,” Samantha Jacobson wrote on Tumblr.
That same day, she received $3,000 from Swift as well!
“I don’t even know how many times I clicked on it to make sure it was real, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop crying,” Samantha added.

Holly and Samantha aren’t the only ones Swift came through for! Not only did the star send each of these struggling individuals money to keep them afloat, but she also treated them like they were close friends rather than strangers.

For many, Swift’s sweet messages and gifts have been a lifeline. No matter what happens, these fans will never forget the angel who so graciously gave them comfort and a bit of stability during this uncertain time.
