We all know Taylor Lautner as a Hollywood hearthrob, but recent events tell us he’s also in the business of making kids’ days.
In March, the 27-year-old “Twilight” star went out to eat at a restaurant, where an opportunity to do good presented itself to him. Lautner overheard a conversation between two servers, one of whom had a 10-year-old with cerebral palsy. The mother had been explaining how her daughter, Gracie, wouldn’t be able to sell enough Girl Scout cookies to meet her goal because she’d gotten sick.
From what Lautner heard, Gracie was very upset about this because she’d invested so much time into the venture. That’s when he decided to help Gracie reach her goal. At the restaurant, he placed a special order with her mom.
Lautner later shared the experience with his fans, writing, “Her mother broke down in tears telling us that Gracie has cerebral palsy and it takes a lot of effort for her to stand out there and go around selling cookies so she was so sad to have come that close to hitting her goal.”
Gracie was so grateful that she recorded a video to thank him for his purchase, which he uploaded to Instagram. “You never know when a small contribution can go a long way and mean the world to somebody,” he added.
As if fans didn’t adore Lautner enough already, this sent them over the edge. The video amassed over 350,000 views less than a day after it was posted. Thousands of viewers commended the actor for being such a compassionate individual.
“We need more of this type of LOVE in the world! Good job Taylor,” one person wrote.
Another summed up his character nicely, writing, “You’re such a beautiful person.”
Way to be a great role model, Lautner! Not only did you do a random act of kindness, but you’ve surely inspired others as well! Watch as the little cutie tells Lautner she met her sale goal in the clip below, and share with others to make them smile.

This video melts my heart. I was out to dinner the other night and overheard my waitress telling one of her coworkers that her 10 year old daughter Gracie had gotten sick and wasn’t going to be able to hit her goal of Girl Scout cookies she was selling and was devastated because she had put so much time in. I decided to help get Gracie that much closer to hitting her goal and her mother broke down in tears telling us that Gracie has cerebral palsy and it takes a lot of effort for her to stand out there and go around selling cookies so she was so sad to have come that close to hitting her goal. You never know when a small contribution can go a long way and mean the world to somebody. ❤️
