The unbelievably hateful words written in the racist message were so hard to hear, but the peoples’ response to the message brought hope to a situation that seemed hopeless.

The video is the result of an experiment by the Lithuanian website, www.svetimageda.lt. The website’s goal is to decrease injustice by providing a “handbook” for how to face and report racism.
The website staged a commercial audition, and the people auditioning had no idea their fame would come from the time spent in the waiting room. While participants were waiting to audition for this so-thought commercial, a film crew was filming them as a stranger asked them to translate a message from Lithuanian to English.
What the message said was tragic, but the participants’ responses were powerful.
