2-year-old Zadee Lopez has neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer that’s formed tumors in multiple areas of her body. The battle has been extremely tough on the young girl and her family, with numerous trips to and from nearby cities in Texas for chemotherapy, but Zadee’s been smiling and laughing through it all.

Some of her tumors have been removed, but there’s still a lot of progress to be made. Zadee was diagnosed in April, and her pregnant mother was unable to be with her during chemo because of the radiation. The distance was tough, but Zadee’s dad stepped in and did everything he could to keep his daughter comfortable and happy.

After delivering Zadee’s new sister in September, the family feels a little more like normal now that they can all be together. However, it’s what an awesome stranger did for the Lopez family that’s brought them smiles after these tough couple months.

The Perez family from San Antonio surprised Zadee with a holiday house play set, a dream come true for any little girl. The kindness has been overwhelming for the family, but this surprise gift was just the icing on the cake.

Cutest reaction ever.

Norma Lee Olivares-Perez spoke on behalf of her family with words of wisdom. “If it were my daughter I would want someone to do the same for her.” The Perez family’s generosity speaks volumes about what strangers can do for each other if they just have a little bit of empathy.
