A Routine And Scream To Remember
While Team USA is still riding high from the successful night on July 29, Stephen’s longtime girlfriend, Tess McCracken, is still recovering from the excitement.
“I was so lightheaded from screaming that I almost fainted,” she told NBC News.
Her reaction is understandable. When Stephen Nedoroscik started his routine, it was truly astonishing. He effortlessly spun his body around the pommel horse and completed his routine with ease.
The NBC Sports commentators noted, “he needs to be a home run hitter. If you’re going to have a specialist on your team, he needs to be a guy who goes up in his one moment. And he hits it out of the park.”
Stephen Nedoroscik, The Olympics Clark Kent?
Stephen’s routine clinched the bronze medal for Team USA, and it was the first medal for the men’s gymnastics team in 16 years. Because of his hero-like win and dark-rimmed glasses, fans have dubbed him the Clark Kent of gymnastics. They’re also calling Tess his Lois Lane, which is a nickname she’s proud to bear.
When the USA Gymnastics team tweeted, “Not all heroes wear capes,” she jokingly replied, “Some wear glasses.”
Those are not Tess’s only viral tweets. Recently, she proudly posted, “MY MAN IS A WORLD FREAKING. CHAMPION” and “HE DID IT OMG IM GROSS SOBBING.” Her excitement is adorable and palpable. This couple has spent eight wonderful years together, and it looks like they are not stopping any time soon.
