Video Of Tourist Singing In Front of Lincoln Memorial Quickly Goes Viral. Her Song Is Beyond Astounding.

The Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. is a strong draw to those thirsty for some American history.

On June 16 tourists got a special surprise when a fellow visitor couldn’t help but let out her own rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Star Genleah Star Swain let freedom ring as she made sure her national pride was heard by all.

After her performance, R&B singer Nay Michelle posted the recording to her Facebook wall. And since then, the video has accumulated over 14 million views!

The start of the video we can hear a man encouraging Swain to belt out the National Anthem, and she gives in pretty quickly. From the very first note, her voice is smooth and stirring, and you know something striking is in the works.

Swain, who’s an assistant principal at Jefferson County Middle/High School in Monticello, Florida, has a voice that speaks to the heart of anyone listening, and it surely does that from the other side of the screen.

“I see now, God is getting ready to do something big from what wasn’t even planned… almost 1M views,” she wrote on Facebook. “Thank you so much Kermit Virgil and my Marching 100 fam for spreading it like wildfire…and my friends and family who put me up to it! And alllllll the ppl who have sent literally hundreds of messages, blessings, and compliments. Love you all!!!!!”

Just beautiful.
