Just a few months ago, media artist Sheena Melwani had a modest social media following. Now, thanks to her husband’s hilarious knack for interrupting her mid-song, she’s a viral sensation with thousands of fans on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.
It all started when she recorded a video of herself singing “If the World Was Ending” by JP Saxe. As she crooned the heartfelt lyrics, her husband began commenting. “It’s horrible to travel if the world is ending,” he cried. “Terrible idea!”
Sheena couldn’t help cracking up as she kept the performance going, while her husband distracted her with his witty one-liners.
When she shared the end result, she captioned it, “Indian dads be like…” and it couldn’t be more perfect!
