Illusionist Shocks “America’s Got Talent” Crowd By Appearing Out Of Thin Air.

When Rob Lake of Norman, Oklahoma, was 21 years old, he took a major risk in his life. Now, it seems that risk is about to pay off – in a very big way.

Rob has always been fascinated with magic and illusions, so he dropped out of college in order to pursue his dream of delighting and astounding audiences around the world. Recently, Rob had a chance to put his skills and showmanship to the ultimate test as a contestant for “America’s Got Talent,” and he did not disappoint.

“I have challenged myself to create real magic,” Rob told the judges before beginning his jaw-dropping routine.

While Simon, Heidi, Mel B, and Howie look a tad skeptical, they’re about to see something with their own eyes that they simply cannot explain!

Rob begins his act by throwing frisbees out into the audience in order to randomly select some volunteers. He then asks host Tyra Banks and judge Heidi Klum to help him out on stage, too.

Then, Rob decides to remove as much doubt that he was tampering with the result of his trick by leaving the auditorium.

Using his iPhone, Rob walks down the aisle toward the exit, pausing only for a selfie with Simon Cowell (expertly photobombed by Mel B).

Rob leaves the theater and speaks to the crowd via his iPhone camera. He has the volunteers circle a table on the stage, examining it from every angle. Heidi and Tyra climb atop it and hold up a curtain. Even though you can tell where this is going, it’s hard to believe how anyone could ever pull this off.

Then, presto majesto, he tells them to drop the curtain… and Rob appears! Tyra and Heidi look incredibly confused, and with good reason. How in the world did he ever do this?

The judges were blown away by Rob’s magical illusion, with Howie stating, “Not everyone can do what you did and that deserves your first yes.â€

Simon also had words of high praise for Rob, telling him, “You have magic powers. You do, you have them. This is exactly what you should be doing. It was very unique. It was a great audition, well done.â€

Rob is on to the next round of the AGT competition, and we can’t wait to see what else he’s got up his sleeve!
