Sofia, the little girl in the video below, is absolutely adorable. Wearing a fairy tale t-shirt and carrying a purse, she has a personality almost as big and beautiful as her smile. She also happens to have Down syndrome. And she wants to tell you all about it!

In the vide below, Sofia’s adoptive mom, Jennifer Varanini Sanchez, has a little Q&A with her daughter. “Do you have Down syndrome?” she asks. “Yes, I do have Down syndrome.” replies Sofia. “Is Down syndrome scary?” Mom asks. “No, its not scary!” says Sofia, “It’s exciting! I get to go to Disneyland!”

The precious video was recorded because this month– October– is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. But Sofia isn’t just talking about how capable she is, she’s proving it! She’s only a second grader, but she’s already an actor and model. Her website has tons of amazing photos as well as an impressive resume. She’s even been featured in a Target commercial!

But Sofia’s story becomes even more incredible when you consider how it began. She tells her story on her website:

“My story is one made for the movies. I was abandoned at birth and spent the first 14 months of my life in an orphanage in a very small town in Ukraine. My forever mom and dad… came to get me in the Spring of 2010. I wasn’t able to do much before I met my mom and dad, but as soon as I got home to the United States, I began to thrive with the love of my 3 older brothers and loving parents and grandparents.”

Just amazing! Check out the video below (which has gone viral– getting nearly 4 million views on Facebook in just over a week!) to hear what this little star has to say.
