Keeping up with the endless bills that life throws at us can sometimes be overwhelming, so it’s wonderful when something miraculous happens to lessen someone’s burden!
Michelle England is a grandmother from Cincinnati, Ohio, who has been having a hard time making ends meet. Michelle beat breast cancer in 2014, but the cancer returned in 2017. When she couldn’t work due to exhaustion from her chemotherapy treatments, Michelle struggled to make her payments on the car, house, and energy bill. Sadly, she fell behind on her car payment, so the vehicle was repossessed.
Just when it seemed that things couldn’t get any worse, something amazing happened.
Michelle started taking the bus to chemotherapy, but the nearest stop was a 20-minute walk from her home. Desperate to get her car back, Michelle scraped up the last $100 she had in the world and headed to the Tri-State Auto Sales dealership, hoping to convince them not to resell her car until she could come up with the rest of the money.
The staff at the car dealership had known Michelle for years, recalling that she is “always smiling” even when life was clearly very difficult for her. She’d had trouble making her payments in the past, but said “her girls” at the dealership always made her feel better.
When Michelle gave them the check for $100, they told her they could not accept it. Instead, the dealership had decided to surprise her with the ultimate gift: they paid off her car for her!
They also serviced the car, topping off the fuel, changing the tires and checking the brakes and fluids.
Now, we are happy to report that Michelle is in remission!
