The UCLA student was writing his PhD dissertation on large-scale data processing and parallel numerical methods. (Don’t worry, I’m lost, too.) When taking short breaks, he’d log on the dating site and figure out how to make the most matches of his desired personality.
But the great part of this story isn’t simply about a man hacking the site, it’s how he used it to find the love of his life.
