Internet Can’t Get Enough Of 91-Yr-Old Who Works Out In Overalls.

We’ve heard plenty of inspiring stories about people who never stop working on their fitness goals, but we’ve never seen anything like this!

Meet Lloyd Black of Semmes, Alabama, a nonagenarian who recently went viral for his adorable workout gear and impressive gym schedule.

Lloyd joined his local Anytime Fitness about a year ago when he realized he was losing strength and mobility. Unwilling to become sedentary, he decided it was time to “use it or lose it” and began working out three times a week… in overalls!

It didn’t take long for his awesome attitude and great outfit to catch the staff’s attention. Once they got to know him, they realized what a true treasure he is and named him “Member of the Month.”

“He says he is 91 years young and brags about how much his workout routine has helped him in his daily routines,” an Anytime Fitness representative said. “Seeing someone like him inspires others to keep it up and incorporate fitness into their life.”

They posted his “Member of the Month” questionnaire online, and the Internet quickly fell in love with Lloyd and his powerful advice to “go ahead, get started.”

Better still, several community members chimed in to share their own fond memories of Lloyd. As it turns out, he used to be a favorite teacher and principal at the local high school. Unsurprisingly, his students thought the world of him!

Anytime Fitness said Lloyd “deserves every bit” of praise he’s receiving and added, “He is the sweetest YOUNG man I have ever met! … I can’t wait to talk with him and tell him what an inspiration he is to others all across America.”
