Boyfriend Ends “Quarantine Concert” On Perfect Note With Surprise Proposal.

Lillian Yee and Ron Songco of California are keeping themselves busy during quarantine by playing music. They’ve been performing together since they were part of the same band in 2016.

Their neighbors know about their musical talents, so they were thrilled when Lillian and Ron decided to throw a little concert on their front porch and live stream it on Facebook. Unbeknownst to Lillian (and the audience), Ron had something special planned for the finale!

After the two of them decided to throw their “Quarantine Concert,” Lillian got to work promoting it on social media and urging everyone to tune in.

When the big day came, the sweet couple sang for over an hour as their community watched and smiled. As they wrapped up their last piece, Lillian stood up, walked down the steps, and was about to turn off the feed when Ron got her attention.

Clearly nervous, he expressed his love to Lillian in a shaky voice. She didn’t understand what was happening (or why he was reminding her of his adoration on Facebook Live), but as soon as he got down on one knee, she caught on!

Of course, she said yes, and their neighbors couldn’t help cheering them on!

The gesture meant the world to Lillian, particularly during the novel coronavirus pandemic. She said, “While everything can seem very dark, I think I was just glad that Ron brought some light into all of that for me.”
