Music has a unique power to unite people. It doesn’t even matter if two people are from different countries and speak a different language, because music has its own language.
But you know what is even better than people from different nations singing together? Children singing together for a good cause – and a recent video posted on YouTube confirms how true this statement is!
A. Mark Long came up with the idea to make a video that includes children from Ukraine that had to relocate to different countries amid the ongoing war singing along to a beautiful song. The main purpose of the video is to call for peace and unity in such hard times, and also to remind the people of Ukraine, especially the children, that they are not alone and have not been forgotten.
The video shows short clips of children located in different countries such as Austria, France, and Palestine. All of these kids are singing along to the beloved children’s song that talks about how no matter the circumstances, they are still “gonna let it shine.”
“We feel that this video is a piece in the puzzle of the greater peace puzzle that many of us are working on worldwide at this time,” Mark wrote.
