John Cena Gives 7-Yr-Old Battling Cancer The Best Birthday Surprise.

David Castle’s birthday isn’t until May 10, but one present came early for the WWE fan this year.

The last seven months haven’t been easy for the 7-year-old. In October, he was diagnosed with stage four Wilms tumor, a rare type of childhood cancer. But even in the face of hardship, David is still smiling after his unforgettable weekend.

On May 3, a special visitor surprised David at his home in Odessa, Florida. Standing there wearing gloves and a mask was his idol John Cena!

As a huge supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Cena wanted to make sure David’s dream came true, even in the middle of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

While Cena’s presence was more than enough for David and his family, the wrestling star also brought gifts! These included two replica WWE championship belts, a hat, armbands, a bobblehead, a signed program, and signed shirts.

But David’s favorite part was getting wrestling tips from his hero!

After enduring multiple tests, surgeries, and chemotherapy treatments, this was exactly what David needed to lift his spirits.

“David was in tears with excitement,” Tammy Miller, his mom, wrote on Facebook. “This was truly the most amazing gift my son could have had.”

This has to be one of the best birthday presents ever! David still has months of treatment ahead of him, but having Cena and so many wonderful people in his corner will help him through it.
