Last night, James Corden took over the Grammy Awards as host and absolutely blew us away! James Corden is most known for his Carpool Karaoke sketch on his “Late Late Show.” He joked that– because his show comes on so late– CBS executives worried he wasn’t recognizable enough to host the Grammy Awards. That’s why they forced him to wear a cardboard cutout of a car and walk through the Grammy audience in an attempt to recreate his signature sketch live and indoors.

He plays at being humiliated by the demand, but quickly spots Jennifer Lopez– who has participated in real Carpool Karaoke with him before— and asks her to join him in an impromptu singalong!
But James can’t stick to just one celebrity! He quickly pulls in John Legend, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Jason Derulo, Ryan Tedder and Neil Diamond into his cardboard “car.”
