Weddings are the perfect place to let loose, have some fun, and show the dance floor what you’ve got. And that’s just what one 9-year-old girl did, but rather than sticking to traditional dance moves like the ever-cool sprinkler or Carlton, she decided to impress the crowd with an Irish step dance.
The little girl was at her aunt’s wedding when she decided to clear the dance floor for her performance. With The Paul Moore Band playing in the background, she skips around in her pouffy white dress– it’s an adorable sight.
She wows the wedding guests with a series of complicated sets of footwork, bobbing up and down and jumping here and there. Her skills are quite impressive, but it’s her little brother in the background that really makes the clip.
He can be seen mimicking his older sister, clapping his hands when she does and doing his own version of her complex footwork.
About a minute in, the singer asks if anyone wants to join the little girl on the dancefloor, and her brother doesn’t hesitate.
He runs up next to his sister and shadows her as she continues her routine without missing a beat. It’s truly heartwarming!
Then, near the ending of the song, the floor gets another surprise guest: the groom’s 85-year-old grandmother!
She grooves nimbly in her white sneakers before the music ends. The family congregates in the middle of the dance floor to hug the performers, who are all wearing huge smiles on their faces.
