There are some voices that are so pure, hearing them literally gives you goosebumps.
In an audition for “Thailand’s Got Talent,” audiences were treated to two teenagers with the kind of voices that make you sit up and take notice. You’d never guess by looking at the young man and woman standing on the stage in sweatpants and t-shirts, but their talent becomes readily apparent the very second they open their mouths and begin to sing.

The teens selected a very difficult song to sing, “I Dreamed A Dream” from the Broadway musical, “Les Misérables.” You may recall that this is the same song sung by Susan Boyle on “Britain’s Got Talent” back in 2009, when the unassuming Scottish woman shocked the world with her beautiful voice and reminded us all to never judge a book by its cover.

This time it was a couple of Thai teenagers who showed us their hidden vocal talents, and they blew their audition clear out of the water! The song is such a powerful ballad filled with longing and unfulfilled desires that it’s hard to believe that teens who are only 13 and 15 years old could ever access the emotional depth necessary to sing it, yet they do.

As the contestants sing, the judges are all raising their eyebrows and shooting looks of surprise towards one another. No one can believe their ears! At the end of the clip, the judges are all applauding wildly, right along with the audience.

This is a truly memorable performance, and we can’t wait to see what these talented teenagers do next. With pipes like theirs, we’re certain we’ll be hearing a lot more from them as they grow older and pursue a career in entertainment.
