If anyone knows hardship and what it means to persevere, it’s disabled drummer Cornel Hrisca-Munn. He was taken at birth without his parents consent and placed in an orphanage in Suceava, Romania. On top of that, he was born with deformities in both arms and one leg, which had to be amputated at a young age.

He was adopted by a visiting doctor from England named Doreen Munn and her husband Ken in 1994. Since moving to England, Cornel has been able to embrace his disability and defy expectations with some incredible accomplishments!
Most notably he has started the Cornel Romanian Rehabilitation Centre Trust which aims to relieve poverty, hardship and distress for Romanian people.
Nowadays, Cornel is a professional drummer and bassist for his band, and when you see him play you’ll be deeply inspired!
