In the trauma following an accident, one firefighter came up with a heartwarming way to help the tiny victims of a car crash.
Last Saturday, a nearly fatal accident occurred. An SUV flipped several times coming off an exit ramp in Mississippi – injuring the driver and 5 children inside. As first responders arrived to help the victims of the crash, one hero laid down beside the traumatized children to soothe their fears.
Casey Lessard, a firefighter from D’lberville, Mississippi displayed an incredibly compassionate heart. To comfort the kids, he pulled out his phone, got next to them, and showed the kids clips from the movie ‘Happy Feet.’

Lessard called it all part of the job, but his efforts to calm the victims of this car crash went a long way toward keeping them alert as they waited for the ambulance to arrive and take them to the hospital.
