All Marc Grimard wanted for Fathers Day was to be with his family, but his work schedule kept him from them. Mark’s 6-year-old son Joel was born with a serious heart condition and lives with his mom Anjela at the Ronald McDonald House to get the treatment he needs.
The incredible people at WestJet were able to step in and make this the best Father’s Day ever for the Grimard family. Partnering with the Ronald McDonald House, WestJet trained a replacement for Marc’s transit job and flew him out to Alberta to be with his wife and sick child. You can bet this will be a Father’s Day he’ll never forget.
