“Hackschooling” Made This 13-Year-Old A Genius. You’ll Wish You Did It Too.

What do you want to be when you grow up? 13-year-old Logan LePlante has wrapped up the perfect answer into one simple word: happy.

As Logan says, “If you ask a little kid [that question], sometimes you’ll get the best answer. Something so simple, so obvious, and really profound: ‘When I grow up, I want to be happy.'” He goes on to have another genius take on this answer… “When I grow up, I want to continue to be happy, like I am now.” But how does a person accomplish a continuous, unfailing state of happiness through the entirety of their life?

This is where Logan’s genius comes in. He’s brought to our attention that we have to learn to be happy. That’s what ‘Hackschooling’ is all about, it’s asks the question, “Why is being happy and healthy not considered education?” His theory/proposal concerning a shift in traditional education, if taken seriously, could change so many lives, and solidify a healthy life full of happiness for the younger generations.
