Disney’s classic ride, Tower of Terror, just got a Guardians of the Galaxy Makeover.

What was once a Twilight Zone-themed spooky Hollywood hotel is now the Collector’s Fortress, where the unlikely heroes of Guardians of the Galaxy need your help to escape. Guests on the hot new ride– known as “Mission Breakout”– help Rocket Raccoon break out of the Fortress. Mass chaos ensues in what’s guaranteed to be a heart-pounding ride.
Mission Breakout just opened this Memorial Day weekend at California Adventures, and the team at ABC 30 gave viewers an inside look, sending Action News reporter Cory James (in his best pair of Groot arms) to test it out.

Cory explains at the start of the video below that the guy sitting next to him has already ridden the ride 12 times, but– for Cory– this is clearly his first time…

While Cory may not have enjoyed the ride, the news anchors couldn’t help but enjoy watching him on it! And we have to agree, it’s pretty hysterical.
