We’ve all made huge sacrifices during the novel coronavirus pandemic. For these grandparents, the hardest part of staying socially distant was not rushing to New York from their home in Canada to meet their first grandson. It was just too risky for them to make the journey, so they got by with regular Zoom calls.
On one of these occasions, the two of them received a wonderful surprise! Their daughter dressed up her then 6-month-old baby in a T-shirt that said, “Going to Grandma’s House.” Next to him was a brand new passport! When his grandma figured out what these clues meant, she was so excited that she literally fell off her chair!
In a video, we get to see the emotional moment when they finally greet their adorable grandson, and Grandma’s reaction is pure joy!
Check out their beautiful reunion in the video below, and don’t forget to share this story to make someone smile.
