It’s a common trope to say that people of a certain age aren’t big fans of technology.
Maybe they feel that people got things done more efficiently “back in their day,” or perhaps they watched a lot of science fiction movies while growing up that featured evil scientists and electronics taking over the world. It might even be that they find the tech of today a bit overwhelming. But one 95-year-old grandma has revealed herself to be Google Home’s biggest fan!

Kathleen Todd received the fancy tech as a Christmas present, and though she seemed to be a bit skeptical at first, admitting that she preferred Alexa, she gave it a whirl.

Kathleen set it up and was blown away by how responsive the device was. Naturally, she took to Facebook to share her amazement!

And after several days with Google Home, the fun didn’t stop!
Kathleen shared her version of a hysterical story after saying goodnight to her new bestie – its clever response had her laughing as she drifted off to sleep.

It’s really adorable that Kathleen thinks of Google as more of a person than AI, and it might be a sign of just how much this type of technology has improved. But at least Kathleen doesn’t expect the tech or the people behind it to be perfect.
