Venus Williams And James Corden Jump Into Middle Of Lakers Halftime Show.

When you’re attending a Los Angeles Lakers game, the chances of seeing a celebrity or two are excellent.

Still, when a foursome of superstars step onto the court to strut their stuff with the Laker Girls, it’s not something you see every day! Fans watching the recent game at the Staples Center in L.A. got way more than they bargained for when tennis champion Venus Williams, former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, and comedian Ian Karmel joined “Late Late Show” host James Corden at center court for the halftime show.

Fans captured the energetic performance and uploaded clips to the internet, where they quickly went viral. We soon learned that these comedians and athletes were there as part of a promotion for an upcoming CBS show called “Game On!” The show is based on a long running United Kingdom show called “A League of Their Own,” hosted by James Corden.

Keegan-Michael Key will step in for James’s role on the American version. The show will feature two teams answering sporting questions and doing physical challenges like sumo wrestling… and dancing with professional cheerleaders!

We’ll have to wait for the show to see the professionally recorded video, but in the bootlegged clips that are currently online we see Venus holding her own with the Laker Girls. The superstar tennis player dances pretty well, moving in time to the choreographed dance steps and almost keeping up with the cheerleaders.

Gronk, however, kind-sorta keeps up, doing a close proximity of the dance while mostly strutting around with a look of extreme concentration on his face. You can tell he’s playing up his sexy dance moves for laughs! Meanwhile James Corden does his best to keep up, resorting to a few go-to dance moves when he loses his place.

Venus and Gronk will be heading up the two teams on “Game On!” After watching them muddle through a professional cheerleader dance routine with big smiles on their faces, we can’t wait to see what they do next!
