With “Frozen 2” just hitting the theaters, fans are eager to learn about Elsa and Anna’s newest adventures.
But before you head to the big screen, watch them freeze Los Angeles traffic in a wonderful installment of “Crosswalk the Musical.”

Voice actors Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff met up with James Corden, the host of “The Late Late Show,” at the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Genesee Avenue to bring some magic to the city.
Each of them was cast as their character in the film — with one glaring exception. Corden announced he would be playing Elsa, while Menzel would become Sven the reindeer.
“I’m aware she played Elsa in the movie, and I’m sure she was fine,” Corden said, somehow keeping a straight face. “But this is a live performance, something Idina Menzel knows very little about.”

But as “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” started to unfold, Bell didn’t feel quite right. That’s because Menzel needed to be on the other side of the door, not Corden! So the moment a green light sent them scuttling off the street, Bell told Corden how she felt.
Corden wasn’t convinced, so he challenged Menzel to a sing-off. The result surprised no one. “Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the greater good,” Corden said. “Sometimes you have to let it go.” What a good sport!

With everyone in their rightful place, the talented cast ran back onto the crosswalk to perform “For the First Time in Forever” before debuting a new song called “Some Things Never Change.”

Although Corden switched to being a snowflake, he still managed to take the spotlight by tossing leaves at cars from a sled.

Not to worry! Arendelle’s true queen had everyone’s attention while she sang “Let It Go” from the top of a car for the finale.

What an incredibly talented group of people — yes, even Corden! We’re just as excited for “Frozen 2” as we were to see the actors in their characters’ costumes!
