Josh Padron is among the thousands sacrificing time with their loved ones to fight the wildfires ravaging California.
Since September, the San Jose firefighter has spend a total 27 days away from his family. Between trying to get the North Complex Fire and August Complex Fire under control, he had two days at home. But the brief respite wasn’t nearly enough time for him or his 10-year-old, daughter, Eliana.
A proud daddy’s girl, Eliana had an especially hard time with her father’s absence. So when a certain somebody walked in the door a few days earlier than planned this month, she completely lost it!
