Cockatoo Helps Creative Boyfriend Pop The Question At Australia Zoo.

In September 2020, Erin Taylor had no idea that Jesse, her boyfriend of six years, was planning to propose. She was simply “stoked” to spend the day at the Australia Zoo, which is owned and operated by “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin’s family.

Around noon, Erin and Jesse attended a bird show. When they called for volunteers, Erin enthusiastically rose to the challenge, welcoming a red-tailed black cockatoo onto her arm. The bird briefly flew back to its handler, and when it returned, it had something priceless in its beak: a note that simply said, “Will you marry me?”

Erin’s reaction was so pure! She later revealed that it was none other than Bindi Irwin who approved Jesse’s request to propose during the bird show.

“It came down to her in the end,” Erin explained. “All she asked in return was a little bit of a donation to the wildlife foundation, which we were more than happy to do.”

What a legendary moment – at a legendary place! Watch Jesse’s wildly clever proposal in the video below, and be sure to share this story to make someone smile.
